Original source: https://dbarchive.biosciencedbc.jp/data/bodyparts3d/20130619/isa_BP3D_4.0_obj_99.zip Original OBJ files retain historical CC BY-SA 2.1 Japan notices. These have been preserved in sources/bodyparts3d/original-obj. Current institutional licensing is CC BY 4.0. No endorsement by DBCLS is implied. ERIZAINTZA modifications: selected components, OBJ to GLB conversion, coordinate rotation [x,z,-y] and mm-to-m conversion, shared recentering, recomputed area-weighted normals, educational materials. Heart: inferior vena cava FJ3441 clipped at original Z=1175 mm with an open cut; distal FJ3659 omitted. Coronary arteries and pulmonary veins are a selection, not a complete tree. Kidneys: external surfaces only. No additional deformation, rigging or heartbeat animation. Each extracted ZIP entry was CRC-verified; SHA-256 per source mesh and generated model is recorded in provenance files. Educational prototype pending academic review. Atlas anatomy does not establish functional movement. Topic 08 atlas models (2026-09-17): thorax.glb, mediastinum.glb, airway.glb. Same source and license. Additional ERIZAINTZA modifications: quadric decimation per structure (fast-simplification), element meshes merged per structure, didactic opacity. Mediastinum reuses the heart IVC clip. airway.glb lung lobes are NOT BodyParts3D anatomy: they are approximations derived from each lobe's bronchial and vascular elements (voxel dilation, nearest-lobe partition, smoothing, marching cubes). BodyParts3D 4.0 contains no lung surface or pleura. Provenance, element lists and SHA-256: sources/bodyparts3d/{thorax,mediastinum,airway}-provenance.json and -files.json. Build: scripts/build_atlas_models.py. vessels.glb and alveoli.glb are ERIZAINTZA's own didactic schemes (scripts/build_schematic_models.py), CC BY 4.0. Proportions are deliberately exaggerated; they are not anatomical measurements. Topic 01 models (2026-09-17): body.glb and joints.glb from the same BodyParts3D source and license (skin FMA7163, bone organ FMA5018 grouped by region; right-side bones for joint examples), with the same decimation and merging. body.glb also contains ERIZAINTZA schematic overlays (planes, direction arrows, body cavities, abdominal regions and quadrants) generated from atlas bounding boxes; they are not atlas anatomy. organization.glb is an ERIZAINTZA didactic scheme, CC BY 4.0. Topic 02 models (2026-09-17): spine.glb and back.glb from the same BodyParts3D source and license (vertebrae, sacrum, intervertebral disks, vertebral and first posterior intercostal arteries, descending thoracic aorta; back muscles of both sides), with the same decimation and merging. spine.glb also contains ERIZAINTZA schematic structures that are NOT atlas anatomy: coccyx, spinal cord (drawn along the centre of the vertebral canal estimated from the vertebrae), cauda equina and the roots, ganglion and nerves of one metamere. back.glb omits latissimus dorsi, multifidus and thoracolumbar fascia, which are absent from BodyParts3D 4.0. Provenance, element lists and SHA-256: sources/bodyparts3d/{spine,back}-provenance.json and -files.json. Topic 03 models (2026-09-17): cell.glb, epithelia.glb, connective.glb, muscle.glb and nerve.glb are ERIZAINTZA's own didactic schemes (scripts/build_schematic_models.py), CC BY 4.0. They are not microscopy or atlas anatomy: sizes, proportions and counts are deliberately altered and colours are didactic, not stains. Topic 04 models (2026-09-17): lower-limb.glb, lower-limb-muscles.glb and lower-limb-vessels.glb from the same BodyParts3D source and license (right lower limb bones, muscles, the leg interosseous membrane, iliotibial tract and long plantar ligament, arteries and veins), with the same decimation and merging. lower-limb-vessels.glb also contains ERIZAINTZA schematic nerves (femoral, obturator, sciatic, gluteal, tibial, plantar and fibular) traced along atlas arteries and bones; BodyParts3D 4.0 has no lower limb nerves, so they are NOT atlas anatomy. Provenance, element lists and SHA-256: sources/bodyparts3d/{lower-limb,lower-limb-muscles,lower-limb-vessels}-provenance.json and -files.json. Topic 05 models (2026-09-17): gametes.glb, embryo.glb and growth.glb are ERIZAINTZA's own didactic schemes (scripts/build_schematic_models.py), CC BY 4.0. BodyParts3D is an adult atlas and contains no embryonic or fetal anatomy, so none of these shapes comes from it: the stages are placed side by side for comparison, they are not to a common scale, and the colours mark the germ layers (ectoderm blue, mesoderm orange, endoderm yellow). They are neither microscopy nor ultrasound images. Topic 06 models (2026-09-18): upper-limb.glb, upper-limb-muscles.glb and upper-limb-vessels.glb from the same BodyParts3D source and license (right upper limb bones with the carpal bones separated, the forearm interosseous membrane and the flexor retinaculum, muscles of the girdle, arm, forearm and hand, arteries and veins), with the same decimation and merging. upper-limb-vessels.glb also contains ERIZAINTZA schematic nerves (brachial plexus, musculocutaneous, axillary, radial, median and ulnar) traced along atlas arteries and bones; BodyParts3D 4.0 has no upper limb nerves, so they are NOT atlas anatomy. In BodyParts3D 4.0 the flexor pollicis brevis pair has its sides swapped (FJ1469M, listed as the right one, lies on the left half, checked against the right carpal bones), so the right-side mesh FJ1469 is used for FMA37388. Absent from the atlas and left to the figures: latissimus dorsi, lumbricals, hand interossei and palmaris brevis. Provenance, element lists and SHA-256: sources/bodyparts3d/{upper-limb,upper-limb-muscles,upper-limb-vessels}-provenance.json and -files.json. Topic 07 model (2026-09-18): skin.glb is an ERIZAINTZA didactic scheme (scripts/build_schematic_models.py), CC BY 4.0. It is not microscopy: a block of skin is shown in section with the epidermis cut back so the dermal papillae and the appendages stay visible, and sizes are deliberately exaggerated (cells, receptors and glands are far larger here than in reality). The mammary gland is a separate scheme beside the skin block and is not to the same scale. Colours are didactic, not stains. Animated models (2026-09-19): public/models/animated/heart-cycle.glb and elbow-flexion.glb are ERIZAINTZA derivatives of the same BodyParts3D 4.0 source meshes and license (heart: the 42 OBJ files of heart.glb; upper limb: the bones and arm muscles of upper-limb.glb and upper-limb-muscles.glb). The originals are unchanged. Additional ERIZAINTZA modifications: quadric decimation of walls, atrioventricular cusps, coronaries, scapula and hand; morph targets for the cardiac cycle (regional displacement fields: Diastole, AtrialSystole, VentricularSystole, Relaxation) and for valve opening/closing (rotation about the insertion line; semilunar pockets flattened outward); a joint hierarchy with pivots measured on the atlas bones, skin weights by height and contracted/stretched morph targets per muscle; baked clips at 30 Hz; meshopt compression and quantization (gltfpack). These are didactic representations, not physiological or biomechanical simulations: phase durations, displacement amounts and joint axes are educational parameters measured or chosen on the atlas geometry, not clinical measurements. Provenance, source hashes, parameters and checks: sources/bodyparts3d/heart-cycle-provenance.json and elbow-flexion-provenance.json. Build: scripts/anatomy_animation/build.py; Blender route: scripts/blender/. Animated models, second batch (2026-09-19): elbow-flexion.glb now also carries the pronator quadratus, the interosseous membrane and a pronation-supination clip (radius turning about the axis from the radial head to the head of the ulna, elbow held at 90 degrees); hand-motion.glb is a new derivative of the hand bones, the thenar and hypothenar muscles and the distal part of the long flexors and extensors (clipped 30 mm above the radiocarpal joint, open cut) with fifteen measured joints and five clips (finger-flexion, finger-extension, thumb-opposition, grip, pinch); heart-cycle.glb's manifest adds optional blood-flow paths through vessel, chamber and valve centroids. Same BodyParts3D 4.0 source and license; the same didactic caveats apply: joint axes, ranges and flow paths are educational representations, not measurements or haemodynamics. Animated models, third batch (2026-09-19): elbow-flexion.glb adds the shoulder — the three parts of the deltoid, supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor, subscapularis and teres major skinned between girdle and humerus by proximity, a girdle chain (clavicle on the sternoclavicular joint, scapula on the acromioclavicular joint, humerus hung from the scapula) with a didactic scapulohumeral rhythm, and clips shoulder-abduction, shoulder-flexion and shoulder-rotation. Same source, license and caveats. Animated models, fourth batch (2026-09-19): lower-limb-motion.glb is a derivative of lower-limb.glb and lower-limb-muscles.glb (right hip bone, sacrum as reference, femur, patella, tibia, fibula, foot bones; 22 muscles, the calcaneal tendon and the iliotibial tract) with a hip → knee → ankle joint hierarchy measured on the bones, proximity skin weights, contracted/stretched morph targets and clips hip-flexion, hip-abduction, knee-flexion, knee-extension and ankle-flexion. Same source, license and caveats; the knee is shown as a single-axis joint and the patella moves with the tibia. Animated models, fifth batch (2026-09-19): spine-motion.glb is a derivative of spine.glb and head-neck.glb (sacrum, 24 vertebrae, 22 intervertebral discs, the cranial bones merged into one skull mesh, hip bones as reference) with a chain of joints from the sacrum to the skull (one joint per vertebra at the centre of the disc below it; the dens and the occipital condyles for the atlas and the skull), discs skinned between their vertebrae, and clips nod-yes, shake-no, spine-flexion-extension, spine-lateral-flexion and spine-rotation with didactic regional shares. Same source, license and caveats; axes are global, not the exact orientation of the facet joints. heart-cycle.glb, review (2026-09-19): the displacement fields were revised after rendering the states in Blender — one ventricular axis for the radial direction, normal-based epicardial damping, a gentler longitudinal decay above the AV plane, vessel roots and semilunar cusps following the outflow tracts, coronaries following the wall, and a capped, distally damped swing of the atrioventricular cusps. Same source and license; still a didactic representation, not a simulation. Animated models, sixth batch (2026-09-19): breathing.glb is a derivative of the thorax meshes (12 thoracic vertebrae as reference, 24 ribs, 14 costal cartilages merged, manubrium + body + xiphoid merged into one sternum, external and internal intercostal muscles of both sides, the diaphragm) and of the five lung lobe envelopes of airway.glb (ERIZAINTZA approximations, NOT atlas anatomy). One joint per rib at its costovertebral head with pump-handle and bucket-handle turns scaled by rib number, the sternum tilting on the manubrium, cartilages and intercostals skinned by proximity, a diaphragm morph target that lowers the dome, a lung morph target that expands and lowers the lobes, and one baked clip quiet-breathing. Same source, license and caveats; it is a representation of the notes, not respiratory mechanics. Animated models, seventh batch (2026-09-19): back-muscles.glb is a derivative of back.glb and spine.glb (sacrum, 24 vertebrae, 22 discs, the cranial bones merged into one skull, the 24 ribs merged, clavicle + scapula merged per side with the humerus as reference, hip bones as reference; the twenty back muscles of the atlas with both sides kept apart and the trapezius split into its three parts) with the joint chain of spine-motion, each shoulder girdle hung from T2 on its sternoclavicular joint, ribs and discs skinned to the vertebrae, muscles skinned by proximity with contracted/stretched morph targets, and clips erectors-extension, erectors-lateral, rotators, head-extension, scapula-motion and serratus-posterior. Same source, license and caveats; latissimus dorsi and the thoracolumbar fascia are absent from BodyParts3D 4.0, the contraction is a schematic bulge and the motion is a didactic representation. Animated models, eighth batch (2026-09-19): jaw-motion.glb is a derivative of head-neck.glb (the cranial bones merged into one cranium, the mandible kept apart on one temporomandibular joint measured on the condyles, the hyoid, and the suprahyoid muscles of both sides skinned between cranium, hyoid and mandible) with clips mouth-opening and clench-and-grind. It also contains ERIZAINTZA SCHEMATIC muscles that are NOT atlas anatomy: masseter, temporalis, medial pterygoid and lateral pterygoid are absent from BodyParts3D 4.0 and are drawn as lofted tubes between attachment points measured on the atlas bones; they are named "(esquema)" in the model. Same source, license and caveats; opening angle, gliding and lateral excursion are didactic values.
